We support female leadership in the corporate world
We are committed to overturning gender imbalance and inequality. That’s why Gucci is a member of Valore D. This represents the first association of large companies formed in Italy that directly supports female leadership in the corporate world and works to get more women into the highest ranks of government and business.
The lifelong employability and economic independence of women is a priority for Gucci. We sponsored the project Talenti senza età (“Ageless Talent”) in cooperation with Valore D and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan. It was the first Italian study about working women over the age of 50, where we learned about their expectations, critical skills and opportunities related to their successful employment. In 2018, we were involved in the second edition of the research that also included our male employees over the age of 50.
In 2017, Valore D launched the Valore D’s Manifesto for female employment to promote women employee and gender equity as a driver of innovation and growth for businesses.
