The ethos of Gucci Equilibrium envisions the amplification of voices that reflect the values of the House and the topics that are critical in today’s world. As part of this narrative, Gucci and FARFETCH present a multi-experience program called ‘Imagined Futures,’ rooted in sustainability, innovation and community.
The first chapter celebrated the new Gucci Off The Grid collection, asking key thought leaders in fashion, culture and sustainability—artist Novo, musician Kam-BU, sustainability expert Dominique Drakeford, and publisher and editor Elise by Olsen— to reimagine the future as works of art, created by collage artist, Seana Gavin.
In the second installment, model Arthur Kelso and artist Esther Lee—two talents who are advocating for a more fluid future—were invited to imagine their ideal worlds, which were then brought to life by digital artist Jon Emmony. In the artworks, Arthur and Esther are captured wearing styles from Gucci’s latest collection including pieces with the ’25 Eschatology’ motif referencing a doctrine about the ultimate destiny of humans and the universe, as well as the Gucci Basket sneakers, crafted mainly from Demetra—a groundbreaking material made using efficient processes with animal-free raw materials that are primarily from sustainable, renewable, and bio-based sources.
