Highlighting women and girls’ voices across Asia striving for gender equality and social change
Building on its mission to convene, unite and strengthen the voices speaking out for gender equality, CHIME FOR CHANGE featured the following 27 written and multimedia pieces from women and girls in Asia making strides in the fight for gender equality and positive social change as part of CHIME’s special journalism series “CHIME Through the Years: The Female Fabric”. Among the selections were stories from Afghan women journalists creating spaces for women’s voices, women and girls in Pakistan and India fighting for issues ranging from climate change to property rights, survivors of gender-based violence helping to build a safer future for women and girls in India and Cambodia, and more.
