WHAT IS CHANGEMAKERS NORTH AMERICA
Launched in 2019, Gucci Changemakers North America, was the first extension of Gucci’s groundbreaking ‘Changemakers’ initiative focused on increasing inclusion and diversity within the fashion industry and across communities and cities in North America.
The North America Changemakers program includes an Impact Fund that provides grants to non-profit organizations focused on arts and culture, a scholarship program for diverse undergraduate college students, and a creative fellows program that supports talented creatives in their entrepreneurial pursuits.
ONGOING IMPACT
To date, Gucci Changemakers North America has invested over $6.5 million and positively impacted the lives of over 600,000 community members across its programs. Including funded over 40 non-profit Impact Fund partner organizations and granted over 70 scholarships to students.
Gucci Changemakers North America consists of three impactful programs that engage diverse partners and young people across the U.S. and Canada.
Supports grassroots non-profit social impact organizations using arts and culture to bring about positive change in their communities through one-year grants for up to $50,000.
Supports talented undergraduate students from creative academic backgrounds through one-year scholarships for up to $20,000.
GUCCI CHANGEMAKERS NORTH AMERICA COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Through engagement with partners, Gucci Changemakers empowers and uplifts the voices and impact of diverse creatives and social change visionaries across North America.
The Gucci Changemakers North America Impact Fund and Scholarship program applications will open in mid-November 2023 and close early February 2024. The Gucci Changeakers Creative Fellows program is invite-only and open to past Gucci Changemakers Scholarship recipients.
