Inviting sociologist Chizuko Ueno and video journalist Shiori Ito, the special content presents talk sessions with sociologist Lawrence Yoshitaka Shimoji on the progress of feminism and the perspectives needed for establishing inclusive society.
Miley Cyrus, activist, artist and singer/songwriter has sent a message for the occasion, as well as Gucci global brand ambassador and actor Jun Shison, player-director Mari Natsuki, actor Rihito Itagaki and video creator kemio.
In addition, beginning on International Women’s Day on March 8th, Gucci lit up the Tokyo Tower in colors symbolizing Gucci and CHIME FOR CHANGE continuing on 18th and 25th to present our wishes for a gender-equal future.
