2023 SPOTLIGHT

Gucci Horsebit 1955 with Demetra

Combining traditional craftsmanship with our ground-breaking animal-free Demetra material, the reconsidered Gucci Horsebit 1955 launched in 2023 was the first bag of its kind at Gucci. Crafted with 75% plant-based raw materials primarily from renewable and bio-based sources, its customized Demetra met our iconic bag’s aesthetic standards and was a testament to the suppleness, luxurious quality and longevity of the material.
