Gucci at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards 2018

23 September 2018, Milan – At the closing night of Milan Fashion Week, the Green Carpet Fashion Awards celebrated sustainability and Made in Italy.

Hari Nef wore a custom Gucci violet, V-neck embroidered long draped sleeved gown all over embroideries of sustainable sequins in recycled PET that are also sustainably colored, displayed in vertical stripes and multi-dimensional flowers, and beaded fringes made of glass bugles, also sustainably colored. She completed her look with a violet sustainable sequin clutch featuring a butterfly closure in recycled brass with lead-free metal hardware and metal free leather and sustainable silk inside, while the shoes are made of leather metal free, violet sustainable sequins and nickel-free hardware.

The components were selected for their low impact and low chemical properties, using recycled metal accessories, Italian vegetable tanned soles and insoles made with FSC certified cellulose and recycled polyester yarn.
She completed her look with Dionysus earrings in 18kt white gold and diamonds, a ring with snake motif in 18kt pink gold with amethyst and violet topez and 18kt yellow gold and green enamel feline head ring with diamonds, all from sustainable gold.
